The Kamand Keychain brings a fragment of Persian storytelling into an everyday object. Crafted from genuine leather, one side features a hand-printed image inspired by Persian mythology, such as Rostam's battle with the White Div, or another available design. The reverse is hand-embossed with a floral motif and the Divan Amin name. Each piece is hand-patinated to create variations in colour and shade, giving every keychain its own character. The Story
The Shahnameh, the Persian Book of Kings, is filled with heroes, mythical creatures, and encounters that have travelled across generations through words and images. Kamand (کمند), meaning a lasso, belongs to the language of the world of action, courage, and ingenuity. In the world of the Shahnameh, such objects belong to a world of heroes, challenges, and stories passed down through generations. The Kamand Keychain takes its name from this idea of reaching and holding on. A small piece of leather becomes a place for a story to live: a scene from Persian mythology, an image chosen by you, or a symbol that holds personal meaning. Each piece is hand-printed, embossed, and patinated, with its own variations in colour and character. Some stories are inherited. Others are chosen. This one is yours to carry.
